Do You Want Gorgeous Hair Color?

Readers Question: How do I get gorgeous hair color? I am so tired of my89678575 hair looking dull. Joan

Answer to Readers Question: There are a few golden rules to follow to attain that gorgeous hair color we all desire.

  1. If you have yellow or olive skin tones you would look better with deep golden or dark-amber hues- honey or caramel Those with fair or rosy complexions look best in cooler shades like sandy blonde or express brown. If you are somewhere in between, stick with neutral wheat or chocolate tones.
  2. It is impossible to verbalize extract shades of color so when you go to a salon bring in shots of models with great hair color or photos of your favorite stars or photos of you a a child with natural strawberry highlights. But make sure that the person in the photo has a similar skin tone and hair texture.
  3. If you are doing your own hair coloring, eliminate the guesswork by testing a few strands before committing your whole head. Cut about 10 strands of your hair from the nape of your neck paint on the color and rinse it off after the time stated on the box. If you like what you see, you will have no worries and you need to go for it with confidence.
  4. When choosing an at-home-hair-coloring kit, check the swatches shown on the side of the box to make sure you are choosing a hue within two shades of your natural color. If you deviate too far from you god-given shade the results may be brassy ends, an ashy cast or even worse a greenish tint. You can easily go darker or lighter next time but fixing color when you have gone too far is a very damaging and expensive process.
  5. Highlights should mimic what the sun does naturally, not bleach every third strand. Ask your colorist at the salon to limit them to the top of your head weaving in the boldest pieces around your face.
  6. If you are 100% silver, then a permanent-dye formula is the only way to get full-coverage. If you hair is only 35% gray or less, opt for a simi-permanent shade, which can create a highlighted look that’s gentler on hair.
  7. When using permanent dye at home, target only your natural hair color that is visible. The tips of your strands are more porous than your roots, so they soak up color quickly, and as a result, they tend to turn too dark and flat when they are dyed.

Reasons for Ear Candling

Ear candling is a simple, effective method for removing ear wax build-up, fungus and impaction from within the ear canal.

During an Ear Candling (auricular candling ) session you lie on your side with your body in a straight alignment. A special conical candle is inserted into a protective plat….the candle is lit and slowly begins to burn. The small tapered end of the candle is gently placed into your ear canal. The ear candle—by it shape, designed length –draws ear wax and fungus deposits from deep inside your ear canal.

As the ear candling session progresses, extracted ear wax and fungus will be burned off, but a majority will be collected in the bottom part of the candle. After the candle has burned down and been extinguished, the therapist will cut open the remnant and show you the former contents of your ear canal. Most people cannot believe what has been collected there. Expect to be amazed.

For A short time after your ear candling session….you may feel lightness in you head and noises may seem to be much louder to you. This can be relieved by inserting cotton in each of your ears. You will most likely notice improved hearing, because the wax blockage is no longer present in your ears….

The following are a few conditions that may benefit you from ear candling:

. Headaches . Ringing in the ears . Migraines

. Ear infections . Plugged Ears . Chronic Sinusitis

. TMJ Dysfunction . Hearing Challenges . Imbalance

.Excessive wax . Inner Ear Pressure . Ear Aches and Pain

You can have future ear candling sessions whenever you feel the time is right….We recommend our clients to have ear candling every one to two months.

Ear candling is a natural way to clean out accumulated wax and white, flaky fungus from the ears. The accumulations withdrawn from your ears may be many months or even several years old. Ear candles are custom designed from natural fibers and tapered to precise specifications.

Ear candling does not hurt…It is painless, harmless and totally a relaxing experience. If it weren’t fro the intermittent crackling and hissing sounds—-due to the burning of the wax and fungus being drawn up the chimney of the candle—you would never know that anything was happening in your ear

Each session will last about 30 minutes.

Initially, most people need just 2 or 3 candling sessions to get their ears clean. However, some people may need u to eight (8) sessions over a six months period. Once your ears are clean, personal preference should determine how often you have your ears candled. Every one to two months would be practical.

Ear candling can benefit almost everyone, from infants to adults. Musicians can benefit-especially singers and horn blowers—who often have lot more wax build up than other people. People who wear hearing aid a benefit. Also those people, who have had previous ear injuries, can benefit from ear candling as they tend to have a greater build up of wax and fungus.

Ear candling should not be done to people who have ear tubes, perforated ear drums, or artificial ear drums.

Make sure your therapist uses Beeswax candles for your treatment and nothing else.
